The hearty flavour of our chicken drumsticks makes them the perfect partner for rich or spicy accompaniments. Marinate them overnight with some runny honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and chilli, then oven cook them for about half an hour until sticky and starting to char. For a taste of the deep south, coat the drumsticks in seasoned flour spiked with Cajun spice mix then bake until tender and sizzling. Alternatively, for a comforting Mediterranean casserole, slow cook the drumsticks with chicken stock, chopped tomatoes, olives and chorizo, not forgetting plenty of aromatic woody herbs.
